The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.

Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The celebrated video game developer lost his life when his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, according to.
