Loyal supporters of the pop star are demanding that a individual who leaped a fence and grabbed the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A circulating clip shows the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and lunging at Grande while the cast walked down a yellow carpet flanked by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the premiere by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was set to be present on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was formally accused.

History of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile contains clips of him interrupting other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" one Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Voice Worry Over Grande's Past Trauma

Numerous supporters criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed dealing with PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented a further comment on Instagram.

A number of attendees also faulted guards at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals demanded online networks to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Event Details

In videos shared widely, Grande looked shocked when she was touched by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

The production itself is a derivative of the classic children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a rosé sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing motion picture of last year in the UK, and scored 10 award recognitions, winning a pair for outstanding attire and production design.
